Plagiarism
Karismavit Health Journal is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. Plagiarism, in any form, is considered a serious violation of ethical conduct and is strictly prohibited.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper citation
- Reproducing content from the author’s own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without appropriate acknowledgment
- Using AI-generated text or translation tools without proper review and attribution
Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools).
Manuscripts found to contain similarity levels above 20% (excluding references and commonly used phrases) may be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright depending on the severity.
Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process:
- Before publication: the manuscript will be rejected immediately.
- After publication: the article may be retracted, and a retraction notice will be issued.
- The authors may be blacklisted from future submission to Karismavit Health Journal and reported to their institution.
Author Responsibilities
- Ensure that all sources are properly cited
- Submit only original work
- Check the manuscript for plagiarism before submission
Authors are strongly encouraged to use plagiarism checking tools before submitting their manuscript.
